News Release_Vermillion Forks Metis Welcomes New Board

Surrey, BC (February 20, 2020) - Métis Nation congratulates its Princeton, BC, Chartered Community: the Vermillion Forks Metis Association (VFMA), on their successful Annual General Meeting (AGM), and election of a new Board of Directors this past Wednesday evening.
On February 19, 2020, VFMA welcomed community members, Captain of the Hunt Marlene Beattie, Regional Director Daniel Pitman, and MNBC President Clara Morin Dal Col to their AGM and social, celebrating their successes this past year.
"MNBC is pleased to continue its work with President Turner, and the VFMA Board for the continued success of this vibrant and growing community within our Métis Nation", said President Morin Dal Col.
VFMA is one of thirty-eight proud Chartered Communities of Métis Nation BC. In March of 2018, they were officially sworn in at the Métis Nation Governing Assembly. VFMA has a flourishing membership of 56 proud Métis Citizens.
