MNBC Mourns the loss of our beloved Gayle Sayese

Posted by on

It is with a very heavy heart and deep sorrow that today MNBC has lost one of our dearest employees and friends to the Métis Nation and we will miss her deeply.

Gayle Sayese, an employee of MNBC for the past more than a decade worked tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of our Métis people through her work in the Employment & Training program and touched peoples lives in such a significant way with her tender but comical approach in connecting with our clients, staff and community. The contributions and the reach of those who benefited by working with Gayle are too many to list.

She had an infectious personality and those who met her couldn't help but be drawn in by her.  Her laugh was one of a kind and when she laughed you could hear it for miles.  She gave of herself to anyone and everyone who needed her and she never stopped to think of anything other than "how can I help" or "what do you need".

You would often see Gayle at the MNBC AGM and MNGA's, selling tickets or chatting to community members about the Employment program.  Gayle was admired and adored by her colleagues, her community and her family.

Gayle was surrounded by her family and a few of her colleagues and best friend today as she passed.

Our hearts and prayers go out to her sons Kevin and Bobby and her family members, loved ones and all those that are and will be affected by this enormous loss.

We at MNBC will never forget her or how much her time with us made such a tremendous footprint in all of our lives.

A Celebration of her life will take place and details of this will be posted here when they come available.
