Special Guest Speakers from MNBC and local First Nations Reps.

Experiences from local foster families
Speaker: A teenager who grew in the foster system. Parents and child perspectives in adoptions.
Our goal is to provide “Life Long Connections” to Indigenous children in our area especially those in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Our hope is to support our children culturally, emotionally, socially, spiritually and financially if we are able.

Gordon and JJ are in Golden appearing at all four schools giving interactive music presentations and teaching a three day Fiddle Camp. We are thrilled to have them hold a Concert and Family Dance at the Legion.
Gordon Stobbe has received many awards, the latest being appointed into the Order of Canada for his commitment to the preservation of fiddle music as a performer, composer and teacher.
