Métis Nation Signs Métis Nation Skills and Employment Training Accord with Canada

OTTAWA ONT. (June 15, 2018) - Today Métis Nation leaders and the Ministry of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, signed a Métis Nation Skills and Employment Accord in Ottawa. The Métis Nation Skills and Employment Accord marks the first sub-accord under the Canada-Métis Nation Accord signed by the Prime Minister and Métis Nation leadership in 2017.
Métis Nation BC President Clara Morin Dal Col commented “Another great day for the Métis Nation today with the signing of the new ten-year Accord for Indigenous Skills and Employment Training with the Government of Canada. This will result in increased funding and stability in the program for our Métis students in British Columbia, and help to ensure this very good program continues to serve Métis people.” Click for more
