Posted by on

British Columbia Métis Assembly of Natural Resources Captains (BCMANR), Métis Nation BC (MNBC), Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), and the Canadian Wildlife Service are holding migratory bird workshops in Region 1 & Region 2.

We will have ECCC biologists, species at risk specialists, BCMANR Captains, and other knowledge holders presenting and answering your questions about migratory birds and harvesting in BC. At the
workshops you will learn a bit more about the MNBC harvester database and annual survey, our MNBC Use and Occupancy mapping research, some regional species at risk information, migratory birds in Canada information, and some tools to identify migratory birds.

If you are interested in learning more about migratory birds, have questions about how to report harvesting data, or are interested in sharing knowledge about migratory birds or species at risk we encourage you
attend a workshop.
