On behalf of the MNBC Veterans Committee and Minister responsible for Veterans Lissa Smith, We would like to remind all Métis Chartered Communities that now is the time to order your ribbon and wreath from the local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion for Remembrance Day.
Communities that would like to participate should connect with their local Legion to place an order. This will ensure that your Métis Community name is on the wreath's ribbon and that your Community is also on the list to be called upon during the wreath laying portion of your City's Remembrance Day ceremony.
If you know of a Veteran in your Community, please honour and encourage him/her to be part of the wreath laying and Remembrance Day ceremony.
