Happy Retirement Doreen!

Posted by on

North Central Regional Director Raynie Gervais presented Doreen Spence, a proud Métis Citizen and long time employee of the Métis Nation BC's Métis Employment & Training Program (METP) a very special gift on behalf of the MNBC Board of Directors and Staff, many of whom have known and worked with Doreen for a number of her 13 years of service to the MNBC. The gift, is a one of a kind painted canvass created especially in honour of Doreen's contributions over the last 13 years.  It was created by Karen Erickson, ASETS Regional Program Manager and Artisan in Prince George, inspired by Doreen's service and the inspiration she has imparted to the employment & training program and to her colleagues. The cake is an exact replica of the canvass.

Doreen retired on March 31, 2017.

Our Nation is greater because of her contributions these past 13 years.  While working with our Métis citizens in the Employment & Training Ministry, Doreen invested her heart and soul in to benefitting MNBC's clients in helping them shape and change their lives.

Doreen will be missed but we hope she enjoys every minute of her much deserved retirement.

Good health and much appreciation,

MNBC President Clara Morin Dal Col, Board and Staff
