In this episode of the Métis Speaker Series, we speak with Arlene Vrtar-Huot, a former Social Worker and the Interim Executive Director of the National Addictions Society. As a Métis Elder for an Early Years Centre in Kelowna, Arlene has been doing the work of residential school healing since 1990. She speaks about her Family Systems program, helping communities heal from the repercussions of residential schools, including addictions, family violence and sexual abuse.
